Hosted this year by Nicky Robinson, over 200 guests enjoyed a fantastic three course meal at Cardiff Arms Park on the eve of Wales vs Ireland.

Guest celebs included the jovial ex-Ireland centre Rob Henderson, a recently retired Jamie Roberts and Wales & Ospreys stand-off, Gareth Anscombe. All participated in a great Q&A set, where Rob Henderson revealed some of the 'practicalities' faced when sharing a room with fellow players on a Lions' tour. Other notable guests included Sir Gareth Edwards OBE & Lady Maureen, Tom Shanklin, plus the ever knowledgeable and articulate John Taylor (Wales, British and Irish Lions).

Beton Bauen were delighted to attend and contribute to the auction, in the form of two signed Manny Pacquiao boxing gloves, which were kindly framed by Cardiff Rugby, along with the certificate of authenticity. Auctioneer on the night was Craig Quinnell, whose somewhat 'cheeky' yet hilarious style only helped to raise greater funds for the chosen charities.

Managing Director Steve Davies and the Beton Bauen team were joined on the night by Mel Francis (Chair, Concrete Society Wales Region) plus Beton Bauen friend and actor, Julian Lewis Jones (Stella, Invictus, Justice League, House of the Dragon).

Thanks to those who organised the event at Cardiff Rugby Community Foundation and the best of luck to Wales in this year's Six Nations campaign!
