SPECIALIST GROUTING
Non-shrink high-flow cementitious grouts formulated from special cements and well graded aggregates are used as standard by Beton Bauen. Most commonly this specialist material is used for precision anchoring of machinery and metallic structures. When mixed with water the formulated substance is transformed into a dense fluid grout, without segregation, able to fill intricate spaces.

SPRAYED CONCRETE
Sprayed concrete (sometimes referred to as Shotcrete) is the method by which concrete is sprayed into place, rather than the more conventional pouring method. Applications for sprayed concrete include curved structures (inc. shell roofs and domes & tunnel linings) and free-formed structures. Applications also include underground construction, retaining walls, piled wall facings, fire protection to steelwork, and strengthening and repair works to existing structures.

GROUND GAS PROTECTION
Before construction work takes place on any new or existing development, areas identified as being high in radon, or other harmful gases, will need suitable protection measures. Generally, this is identified from a site investigation, where results will be interpreted, a specification produced, and a specialist installation undertaken to prevent the ingress of hazardous ground gases.
