Just in time for Christmas (ahead of Cardiff Rugby vs Dragons, Boxing Day), leading concrete specialist company Beton Bauen, commits to a further three-season sponsorship deal.

Cardiff Rugby are delighted to secure long-term support from Beton Bauen, who currently put their name to the Arms Park South Stand, affectionately retitled “The Peter Thomas Stand” in 2023, following the death of the highly-regarded former player and chairman. The agreement also includes sponsorship of Cardiff Rugby warm-up jerseys, match day LED advertising, and notably player sponsorship of Wales international, Teddy Williams.
What’s more, on Boxing Day Beton Bauen are Match Ball Sponsor for Cardiff Rugby vs Dragons, the second of three regional derbies to be played in or around the festive holiday period.
Steve Davies, Beton Bauen Managing Director, said:
“We like to think that we’ve played our part at Cardiff Rugby over the past three to four years, and in the wider rugby community within South Wales – not just financially but also by supporting various events and projects. We’re committed to ensuring the safety and compliance of the Arms Park and working closely with club representatives as the Official Specialist Concrete Partner. Beton Bauen look forward to helping rugby at both regional and community level. We’re a committed sponsor at Cardiff Rugby but also have ongoing multi-season sponsorship arrangements with Caerphilly RFC, Llandaff RFC, Senghenydd RFC, and Taffs Well RFC.”
Entering their fourth year of sponsorship at the club, Beton Bauen has become an integral member of the Cardiff Rugby family. The company provides structural waterproofing, concrete repair, and ground gas protection for the stadium, a relationship that began in 2016.
Cardiff Rugby Chief Operating Officer, Jack Butler added: “We’re proud to renew our partnership with Beton Bauen for another three years. Their significant investment into the Cardiff Rugby Community Foundation underlines their commitment not just to the club, but to the wider community we serve. Also, seeing the Beton Bauen branding proudly displayed on the Peter Thomas Stand is a great symbol of a strong and growing partnership.”
In addition to their support of the club, from 2025/26 season Beton Bauen will become a sponsor of the Community Foundation, a not for profit community arm of Cardiff Rugby. Cardiff Rugby Community Foundation run numerous programmes in the region, which promote and improve opportunities for all, through education and inclusion.
Beton Bauen Financial Director, Belinda Davies explains:
“We’re thrilled to be helping the Community Foundation and loving the fact that our branding will be seen on fun inflatables, during match days and at community events, for the foreseeable future. I’m hoping to get personally involved and support the fantastic team that manage the Community Foundation”.
Dan Brennan, Marketing Manager at Beton Bauen added:
“We deliver projects in the UK and all around the world but it could be argued that it’s the local community where our reputation matters most. Hopefully, sponsoring the Community Foundation along with a selection of community clubs will further enhance our standing within Welsh rugby, and with local supporters.”
As Beton Bauen passes it’s twentieth year in business, sponsorship is set to continue until 2028, encompassing the 150th anniversary of the historic Cardiff rugby club.
