Beton Bauen and Taffs Well RFC are delighted to announce a further two-year partnership ahead of the 2025/26 season, which will coincide with the appointment of former Wales and British & Irish Lion, Matthew Rees, as the clubs' new Head Coach.

In continued support of local sport and community groups, construction specialist Beton Bauen has committed to a renewal of pitch-side advertising at Maes Gwyn, home of Taffs Well RFC for the 2025/26 and 2026/27 seasons. This coincides with similar support of regional side Cardiff Rugby, and local sides Caerphilly RFC and Senghenydd RFC.
Further still, Beton Bauen has secured ground naming rights, and with it a commitment of marketing and design support for Taffs Well RFC from Marketing Manager, Dan Brennan. In the coming month the club is looking to produce a definitive brochure for commercial sponsorship opportunities, as well as increasing social media activity and other methods of supporting partners.
The clubs current location Maes Gwyn, is affectionately named after Gwyn Davies, a former player, chair, and local businessman, without whose help and commitment (over five decades) the development of the current clubhouse and ground would not have been possible. It’s important to point out that ground naming rights won’t mean that the title Maes Gwyn will disappear.
Dan Brennan explains… “We’re enthused to partner again with Taffs Well, and further cement the relationship between the club and our company. My Dad (Denis) played for the club in the late 1960’s and 1970’s, alongside brothers Bob and Gwyn Davies. I actually grew up in the same street as Gwyn and my Mum used to work for Rhys Davies & Sons (where Gwyn was Managing Director of a family business). Therefore, although Beton Bauen has secured naming rights for the ground, it's important to incorporate Maes Gwyn into any new name and respect the history and high-regard that Gwyn holds within the club and local community."
For the forthcoming 2025/26 and 2026/27 seasons Taffs Well RFC home ground will be known as Maes Gwyn, Beton Bauen Stadium.
Club Chairman, Paul Collings said: "Taffs Well RFC is delighted to have the support of Beton Bauen for another two seasons. In financially challenging times, long-term commitment cannot be underestimated. Beton Bauen has shown a real passion for getting involved at the club and we appreciate not only the financial contribution but also the additional design and marketing help, enabling us to target other potential sponsors. This agreement indicates a real effort to maximise commercial opportunities for next season and beyond."
Established in 2006, Beton Bauen has become a leading construction specialist in structural waterproofing, concrete repair, and surveys & testing, operating throughout the United Kingdom and overseas. Beton Bauen join a growing list of local businesses supporting the club, including Dyno Rod, Dale Building Maintenance, Bellway, and Heath Windows.
Beton Bauen Managing Director, Steve Davies stated: “The long-term sponsorship of Taffs Well RFC shows how committed we are to supporting local sports clubs and the community. This season we’ll be offering similar support to other clubs in the area and looking to continue our recruitment campaign through these hubs of the community.”
Beton Bauen is looking to cement relationships with local clubs by implementing a joint recruitment campaign for reliable, hardworking candidates, on and off the pitch.
"We’re keen to work in partnership with Taffs Well RFC. Community interaction over the past 24-months has been fantastic and the club play an active part in our ‘Recruiting a Winning Team’ campaign. We’re delighted to offer little perks such as tickets to Cardiff Rugby, as and when we can, and get involved with the club and supporters. The club plays a significant part in social media campaigns and hopefully the addition of ground naming rights will go a small way to helping not only the senior men sides, but also the senior ladies, and younger age groups.”
