In further support of local sport and community groups, construction specialist Beton Bauen has committed to a total of eight hoarding panels at Taffs Well RFC for the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons. The signage will follow similar exposure at Cardiff Rugby and Caerphilly RFC, as well as many other sports venues across South Wales.

Steve Davies, Beton Bauen Managing Director, said: “As an avid fan of Welsh rugby, I am incredibly proud to announce this new relationship with Taffs Well RFC. “We have a long heritage of supporting both local communities and sport clubs in South Wales, so it is great to be able to announce this new partnership and help promote our business in, and around the Cardiff area.”

Established in 2006, Beton Bauen has become a leading construction specialist in structural waterproofing, concrete repair, and surveys & testing, operating throughout the United Kingdom and overseas.

Dan Brennan, Beton Bauen Marketing Manager, commented: “We’re delighted to be sponsoring a club with such a renowned history; one that includes former Welsh playing greats such as Steve Fenwick, Ian Stephens and Bleddyn Williams. My own father played for Taffs Well RFC in the late 60’s and 70’s, so the club has always had a place close to my heart.” Beton Bauen join a growing list of local businesses supporting the club, including DecTek, Big Bang Print, and this year's first team sponsors Heath Windows.

Taffs Well RFC Director of Rugby Development, Adam Chown was pleased to solidify the partnership and hopes both will go on to develop the relationship further. He said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Beton Bauen on board as a new partner. Hopefully both parties can benefit immensely and we’re looking forward to helping Beton Bauen with their recruitment campaign being run through local rugby clubs.”

Managing Director, Steve Davies stated: “The long-term sponsorship of Taffs Well RFC shows how committed we are to supporting local sports clubs and the community. This season we’ll be offering similar support to other clubs in the area and looking to develop our recruitment campaign through these hubs of the community.”

Beton Bauen is looking to cement relationships with local clubs by implementing a joint recruitment campaign for reliable, hardworking candidates, on and off the pitch.

Steve Davies continued:

"We firmly believe that players and supporters from local sports clubs are a rich source for specialist construction candidates. Beton Bauen is recruiting trainee concrete technicians now, for the future, but we have positions available for those with more experience as well.”
