Snowdog and Paul Fears Climb to Everest Base Camp for Tŷ Hafan

Between the 18th and 25th April 2025, 'Snowdog', Paul, Mark, Leigh and Dean successfully climbed to Everest Base Camp on the adventure of a lifetime!

In April 2025, Greg Fear's much-loved Snowdog climbed to Everest Base Camp with Greg's Dad Paul. The Everest trek was in memory of Greg, who passed away in February 2023 and who is so painfully missed by Snowdog, Pilchard, and all of Greg's family. With Greg's Dad and a team of wonderful people from The Events Room, Snowdog aimed to climb up above the clouds, too be as close to Greg as he could. In recognition of all their amazing support during this difficult time, Snowdog is raising money for the children's hospice Tŷ Hafan. Snowdog thanks everyone for their support. Beton Bauen are pleased to have donated to the cause. Managing Director, Steve Davies comments, "Congratulations to Paul and everyone who took part. Having worked closely with Paul Fears Photography over recent years, we're delighted to support such a great cause, in memory of Greg".

Sadly, thousands of families in Wales live every day knowing their child’s life will be short. At the moment, they often face this without any care or support. Alone. Afraid. Isolated. Tŷ Hafan’s ambition is that when a child’s life will be short, no family should have to live it on their own.
