THE IMPORTANCE OF SuDs WITHIN MODERN DEVELOPMENTS

An overview of the importance of SuDs within modern developments and the place of permeable paving within the SuDs hierarchy.


Providing a detailed overview of the concept of how permeable pavements work, how to design permeable pavements and dispelling some of the common misconceptions. The presentation will include a section on Raingarden kerbs and their use, design and detailing. There will also be an overview of

Carbon Capture scheme that Marshalls have initiated at our site in South Wales and a roundup of some of the other carbon mitigation processes and products that we have introduced.


This is an accredited CPD Seminar, duration approximately 1 hour, including Q&A. The Technical Event will take place at Beton Bauen's head office in Caerphilly. Breakfast and refreshments will be served at 8.00am, prior to the event starting at 8.30am.
