Beton Bauen Sponsors Senghenydd RFC

As part of Beton Bauen’s commitment to local sport and community groups, the Caerphilly based construction specialist has sponsored Senghenyyd RFC for the remainder of the 2023/24 season.

The sponsorship agreement comprises of partial kit funding for the Youth age group, plus advertising signage similar to the exposure at Cardiff Rugby, Caerphilly RFC, and Taffs Well RFC home grounds.

Current club Chair, Gareth Bowen, commented: “On behalf of everyone involved with Senghenydd RFC l’d like to take this opportunity to thank Beton Bauen for their support of the club; it's very much appreciated. Money is tight (at every local club) nowadays but we have a great local fan base, which will hopefully encourage businesses such as Beton Bauen, Direct Healthcare Group, and others, to help financially.”

Senghenydd RFC was originally founded in 1898 and this season celebrate their 125th Anniversary. The Senior 1st Team squad currently play in the WRU Admiral Mens National League, Division 1 East.

This weekend they play at home, against Abercwmboi RFC, in a WRU knockout cup match where Beton Bauen and Senghenydd RFC will helping to launch the Beton Bauen ‘Rugby Recruitment’ campaign, in South Wales. Kick off at Welfare Park is 2.30pm.
