A fantastic weekend for Caerphilly RFC, as the Beton Bauen sponsored side beat Cilfynydd RFC 32-27 to secure an early promotion.
With four games to go Caerphilly RFC secured promotion from Admiral National League 2 East Central with a hard-fought win over Cilfyndd RFC as the 'Cheesemen' continued their unbeaten run in the league. In fact, Caerphilly RFC First XV haven't lost a game all season and only a minor miracle should stop them becoming champions!
Caerphilly RFC Secretary, Niki Willacott said:
"What a fantastic weekend for Caerphilly RFC!! Promotion to Division 1. Thank you for all your support so far this season, but the season isn't over yet.”

WRU NATIONAL CUP - Div 2
On Saturday 5th April Caerphilly RFC will be travelling to Uplands RFC for the semi final of the WRU National cup, to face Abercrave. KO is 2.30pm. The club will be running a supporters bus which will be leaving the club around 12 noon. If you would like to book a seat on the bus please email secretary@caerphillyrfc.org with the number of seats you need. Costs to be confirmed once we have definite numbers.
SILVER BALL
On Wednesday March 26th, we will be travelling to Penygraig for the quarter final of the Silver Ball competition, where we will face Beddau RFC. KO is 7.15pm
